The trial is a real mission, scaled down to one agent: your child, and me. No group yet, no pressure, no audience. I get a feel for their English and their energy. They get a feel for how missions work. Then, if it's a fit, I match them into a squad of four kids at their level. I don't put kids into squads blind.
